It was already written in stone that the Russian Empire were through to the playoffs after the first day of Group C in the Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Dota 2 tournament. Now it's decided that their countrymen of RoX.KIS will join them.
The first game of the night, where the Russian-based team weren't involved, was very one-sided when Team Dog presented a dominating performance against NEXT.kz. They won the game to advance to the game against RoX.KIS would decide who goes to the playoffs and who will have to fight in the Consolidation Stage.
The final game of the group, which was played best of three maps, had a rough start though. Only five minutes into the game, RoX.KIS Dazzle-playing Yol disconnected due to internet problems, forcing RoX.KIS to forfeit the first game in the best of three battle. The Power Rangers player fng was called in to act as stand-in for the upcoming match, though, and it worked out well for the Eastern European side. They evened out the score to 1-1, and then won the third and final match as well, giving them the spot for the playoffs.

Group CFans of Team Dog, NEXT.kz and the other teams failing to place top two in the group stage do not have to worry. You will be able to see your favorite teams play again tomorrow in Consolidation Stage. There, the six teams who all placed third or fourth in their respective group, as well as the qualifier winners Drakdräpare and Vast Cast, will play a single elimination bracket for the last two playoff-spots.
