There are only four teams left in Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem. This has been decided after yet another three fantastic games of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where Titan eliminated Fnatic, dignitas pushed down LDLC.com to the lower bracket, where the French team then beat HellRaisers out of the tournament after an overtime.
Titan vs. Fnatic
The first match of the night was between the ever so dangerous Titan and the DreamHack Winter 2013 Champions of Fnatic. The map was Cache, and you could easily see Titan were comfortable on the CT side. In half time, they had picked up 13 out of the 15 rounds, meaning they only had to take three rounds to win. Fnatic showed some resistance, but were not even close to fill the gap in time.
Tonight's upper bracket match really started off looking one sided. We have seen some great comebacks earlier in this tournament, and this was for also one the books. As CT, LDLC.com managed to overwhelm their Danish opponent by picking 13 rounds in the first half. In most scenarios, this is a definite win for the French team. Given that this is Fragbite Masters, though, dignitas was not a team to be ruled out.
They actually managed to take the pistol round and the first weapon round, and just when it looked like LDLC.com would pick their 15th round, Peter "dupreeh" Rothmann showed the Play of the Day by jumping into defusing the bomb — through the opponent team's smoke — the same second as they had planted the bomb. This massive play kept the Danes on a roll, and in the end, they completed their comeback winning 16-14.
You wouldn't think it could get any closer than that, but it did. Dust2 started off with a close 8-7 half in slight favor of the attacking LDLC. The seven rounds dignitas picked up as CT was seen as a great effort, though, and one would think they could take the series 2-0. Though they didn't, as the result was the exact same in the second half, forcing the map to an overtime. The French team was then the clearly stronger team, picking up four rounds in a row to secure themselves a third, deciding map.
The oh so popular Inferno was the one to settle this epic best of three. Here, though, anticlimax kicked everyone in the face as dignitas picked up a strong 12-3 lead after playing as defenders. For once, this result did not end in an epic comeback as dignitas picked the following pistol round and ended the series quick and painless.

LDLC.com vs. dignitas — 1-2The best of three was followed by a lower bracket game between the losers of the previous match, LDLC.com, and CIS-based HellRaisers on Inferno. Once again, we got some epicness as both halves of the map went 10-5 to the defenders, meaning we got yet another overtime game in the playoffs. This overtime was won by LDLC.com, who now are through to face their countrymen in Titan in tomorrow's first lower bracket match.
