Pros' perspectives: Most clutch player of all time

1
"Pros' perspectives" is a feature series which sees a variety of well known past and present Counter-Strike professionals all giving their answer to a single question. In the second edition find out which player stands out as the best under pressure and against overwhelming odds as 26 pros give their take on Counter-Strike's most clutch player.

Question: Who is the most clutch player of all time?

AdreN:
Starix. During most of the 1v2 and 1v3 situations, Starix's actions are almost like solving a math exercise in a very creative way.
allen:
Tentpole was actually a really really good clutch player, we always had faith in him during 1on2/1on3 situations.
B1ad3:
In my opinion a good player can't win a clutch situation 1v2 against two other good players if they played properly. Definitely he can make a huge impact on the outcome of the round, but ultimately it shows us the low skills of his opponents, which can also be considered as his advantage. Anyway those who can make a huge impact on the clutch are Markeloff, GeT_RiGhT, NEO.
bit:
NEO. His movements and good timing makes him able to clutch a lot of rounds by himself.
bsl:
In terms of impact you could pick f0rest or NEO, I guess. From my POV it was Naikon. The most clutch round ever was the second to last round between Catch Gamer and Pentagram (ESC) in the match to decide who went to the semi-finals of WEG Season 2. Zevy had 2 hp on an afterplant against two Polish players with good health and tricked them by hiding behind the green box on bombsite A of de_dust2. I'm sure TaZ and Neo still have nightmares about it.
cArn:
f0rest
da bears:
We had a joke in EG on how lucky Matt (bl00dshot) Stevenson was. He could be afk and still manage to win the round.
dsn:
I think I will have to go with f0rest, but that's mainly because I remember all the sick situations when he's been against the odds and won. I think it's easier to remember sick rounds when you are playing in the match yourself.
Edward:
According by the HLTV.org forums it's Loord, but for me it's Zeus
evolution:
NEO
face:
I have to say that Delpan has played some amazing and important rounds for us!
fisker:
SpawN, he is the one player you want in 1onX-situations. The things he did in matches and practise was just sick sometimes.
hooch:
NEO
Kapio:
cyx. He won so many rounds for us back in the days. He loved those kind of situations, where he was on his own and felt the pressure.
lurppis:
Tentpole might be the most clutch player ever. Unfortunately his career was cut short due to SK Gaming's troubles of paying his salary on time and then cutting him for speaking up about it, but he was a vital part of Begrip, fnatic, NiP and SK Gaming from 2005 all the way until 2008. He has some very memorable clutch rounds such as the ESWC 2006 grand final ace against mibr (although fnatic ended up losing) and he just seemed like a really intelligent player overall.
MJE:
Zonic
mysse:
NEO. hands down
natu:
Have to give appreciation to the old school and say Potti. Back in the day he was above the rest as far as reading plays goes. He never seemed to hesitate at any moment and played very decisively. SK has many CPL titles thanks to this guy.
NEO:
GeT_RiGhT or Loord. Both have the same style, a little bit of "LMS" (last man standing) which means they are 1onX pretty often so they can practice that a lot :p
pita:
NEO. Have seen him clutch so many rounds in big tournaments so I must say him.
plastE:
Have to say walle, because of WCG 2006 against Poland in that 1on5 situation.
Potti:
HeatoN always found a solution in a hard situation, like the classic flash fake with a smoke in the CPL Summer 2002 final.
trace:
Me
XeqtR:
Can't mention just one, great players have all done clutch things in their lives to win tournaments, that's what makes them great.
Xp3:
Storm
Zonic:
NEO for sure.
